File Scan Options
When viewing files using File Scan, it can be a little overwhelming. There can be a large amount of files to sift through just to locate the ones you want. It is for this reason that Cool Info FX implemented a series of File Scan options.
Locations To Scan
The Locations option allows you to choose where to perform the search.
File Types
The File Types option allows you to decide which file types to search for.
Ignore Rules
The Ignore Rules option allows you to decide which files to ignore and which ones to return.
The ‘Save File Scan Results on Exit’ takes the results from the last file search and saves it to the Hard Disk for future use. This information can then be exported.
To open the File Scan Options Menu:
From the Cool Info FX View Menu, click on Software Installed > File Scan then select the Options Button near the bottom of the Window.
