Printers

Cool Info FX allows you to view the properties of the installed printers in one easy place.
To view this section in Cool Info FX, select Printers from the View Menu and click on the printer you wish displayed.

You may notice other items in the printer section that are not actual printers. Many companies write printer drivers for their own programs that perform certain functions. For example WinFax creates a printer driver that allows you to print a document to WinFax (the program), which in turn converts the document to a faxable format. Another example is Adobe Acrobat. When you print to the Acrobat printer, the document is converted into a PDF file. The properties for these ‘printers’ can be viewed as well, but not all the listed properties may apply.
