Shared Program Files

The Shared Program Files section displays file information on the files located within the Shared Program Files Folder. Shared Program Files are used by Software Companies who release more than one program. They are, in essence, simply files that can be used by many programs to avoid duplicating the files on a system.
- File Name – Displays the name of the file.
- File Location – Displays the path of the file on a given drive.
- Company Name – Displays the name of the Company who originally created the file.
- Product Name – Displays the name of the program the file is associated with.
- Product Version – Displays the Product Version of the program the file is associated with.
- File Version – Displays the current Version of the file.
- Description – Displays a brief description of the file or program.
- Created – Displays the date the file was originally created.
- Modified – Display the date the file was last modified.
- Size – Displays the size of the file.
To open the Shared Program Files section:
From the
Cool Info FX
View Menu, click on Software Installed > Shared Program
Files.
