Exporting Overview

Cool Info XP has made it easy to export your system information in a standard file format. Cool Info XP supports the following file formats.
.txt Text Format
.htm Web Page Format
.XML Existential Markup Language Format
.mdb Microsoft Database File (97 and 2000)
Text
Coverts the data into a standard .txt file. This format is compatible with most word processors.
HTML
Using the html export option converts the file into an .htm file format that can be read on the Internet.
XML
XML is a cross platform language that allows the data to be read and used by multiple programs.
Microsoft Access
Cool Info XP exports the data to a Microsoft Access .mdb format. Microsoft Access is a widely used database program that can be used to create custom queries and reports on the exported data.

- Use Access 97 format when exporting to MDB (Default Access 2000) – If you are using Access 97 select this option to export the data using Access 97 instead of Access 2000.
- Perform new file scan – Select this option to perform a new file scan before exporting the data.
- Perform new shared file scan – Select this option to perform a new shared file scan before exporting the data.
- Skip removable drive enumeration – Select this option to skip the removable drive enumeration.
- Sections to be exported - You can select the options to be exported by checking or un-checking the desired option. Select CHECK ALL to export all categories, or select CLEAR ALL to remove all options from the export.
