File Types

The File Types tab allows you to select one or more File Types to perform the search on simply by checking the boxes next to the File Type listed.


File types can be added and removed the following ways.

• Remove - You can remove a particular file type by selecting a file type and then pressing the remove button. 
• Add New - You can create a new file type to add to the list by selecting the Add New button. This window will pop up asking you to enter both the File Type (ex. .AVI) and a description for the new File Type. After pressing OK, the new File Type should be included within the list.
  
  
  
  To open the File Types option:
  
  From the Cool Info XP View Menu, click on Software Installed > File Scan, select the Options button near the bottom of the Window and then choose the File Types tab.
  -or-
  
  From the Top Menu Bar select Tools > Options, select the File Scan tab and then choose the File Types tab.
