Overview

To get started using LaptopLocate.net follow these steps:

• Enter the User information
• Provide any Computer information that is available to help in the tracking process
• Enter the Email information and perform a Test Email by clicking the "Send Test Email" button
• Provide Security to your information by setting a password. Be sure that Enable Tracking is checked to use LaptopLocate.net tracking features
• Review the Options settings, to get the most out of LaptopLocate.net, leave all options checked
• Once you have made the necessary changes and provided any further information available, click the Apply/Save button to apply these changes
• Click the Hide button to hide the program from your desktop. To bring up the program again to make further changes, use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S.

Special note to firewall users: Be sure that LaptopLocate.net is able to communicate with our tracking servers through port 80.
